The Chardonnay grape variety is mostly present in this blending and is at its height in this champagne. The Pinot Noir enriches it and gives it a nice structure.
This champagne has a nice pale golden colour with green and silver hints. The bubbles are tiny and the "cordon" is long-lasting. The first nose is intense and dominated by aromas of brioche and fresh bread, ripe fruits (pear) and candied apricot with a mineral touch. Notes of citrus fruits and peach appear then. The mouth is clean, ample and powerful. You will find a nice freshness and mineral notes. This champagne is very well balanced and has a nice aromatic length which is totally consistent with the nose.
This elegant wine can be drunk alone at the aperitif or throughout the meal, with shellfish (such as duo of langoustines and asparagus served with butter-lemon mousse) and fishes.
